Kallen is a hot-headed resistance fighter and ace pilot from an alternate universe in which the United States was never founded and instead became the Holy Britannian Empire. A decade after Britannia conquered Japan--renamed Area Eleven--the half-Britannian-half-Japanese Kallen is part of the resistance, and accepts the aid of the enigmatic masked master tactician known only as Zero. Kallen is physical and quick to judge, with a strong sense of justice and a hatred of oppression. You're welcome to throw a punch at her, but she'll swiftly punch back. She comes to Tanagura essentially a complete virgin, as her teenage years were mostly spent as a rebel and the man she fell in love with ended up sacrificing himself for the good of the world. So it will take some time before she's comfortable with anything sexual or develops a level of trust necessary. Kallen is almost entirely heterosexual and heteroromantic, though won't rule out her trying something with another girl if the circumstances were right.
